    Hi, Can anyone tell me why I am getting this error. ORA-00936: missing expression (DBD ERROR: OCIStmtExecute/Describe I am running a perl script on HP11.00 and DBD-Oracle-1.06. The same script runs fine on our other box which runs on HP 10.20 and DBD-Oracle-1.06. Thanks in advance Sridhar

    Hi, I want to know how can we do pull up a string up to a position. For example I have a variable /disk5/oracle/admin/arch/arch_123.dbf I require the output to be stored in a variable as /disk5/oracle/admin/arch/ Can anyone help out how to solve this Thanks in advance Sridhar
