New observation: When I start it up with Movie C (which has NO Combo Box), and move to Movie B, the Comb Box in Movie B works. Does this help at all or offer up and clues? Thanks.

There already seems to be a combo box in the library of both Movie A and B. I tired your suggestion all the same, but got the same result. By 'main' timeline you mean the bottom one, correct?
