Disable XP File Checking on Boot
I have had a real nasty time with Hitachi 2.5" drives on my ThinkPad, had 3 new ones fail within a year. The 20 gig Travel Star that came with the laptop is installed now but XP prompts to check drive C on boot. File and folder checking goes off without issue...- betabilly
