    One thing about your last post is you say that you can chat and ping...this doesn't answer the question of your web browser settings being correct or not. Does this only happen in one web browser or does it occur in others? Perhaps if it is malware, virus, etc. maybe it's changing your browser...

    You say it says Acquiring Network Address. Does it ever go connected or limited or no connectivity?

    If you are able to ping one thing I may suggest checking is your web browser connection settings. IE Tools > Internet Options > Connections Tabs > LAN Settings -Make sure that none of the boxes are selected (Automatically Detect Settings, Use Automatic Config Script, or Proxy Server)...

    Hi guys I'm new to the group. I am an employee with an ISP and am having an issue with a customer. After performing a DNS flush (ipconfig/flushdns) and a 'netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt', the customer now has an IP of 172.16.0.100. I cannot seem to get rid of this or discover the cause...
