External HDD woes
I have an old BENQ external CDRW enclosure. I want to use it to run a 20G HDD as an external HDD. The jumper has been placed on the MASTER setting, when I first connected it to the computer (running WIN XP SP2) it worked. As soon as I disconnected it from the USB and tried to connect it again...- BMCULL

External Hard Drive Questions
I have taken an old seagate 20G ide HDD and connected externally using a BENQ external CDRW housing. After connecting every thing up and connecting to my computer, it tells me that the device is unrecognised/malfunctioned.
