Did you find any solution ? In my case, I finally found I had a passerelle IP adress conflict generated by a test version of Avirt Suite 4.2 I had tried for internet connection sharing. Desactivating Avirt was not enough. I had to completely desinstall it.- BLAriane

I have the same pb with explorer Version 5.00.2920.000. The PC is installed on a small network. It does establish the connection with FAI automatically, but IE doesn't load any page. Target sites do ping, but the status bar shows ie will look for DNS such as 0.0.0.X , where x is a value between...- BLAriane
