Yes. SAM required it. It makes a connection. In fact, on one of the servers it actually backups up several file systems before it quits.- stoever

We created a new internal 1Gb backup network. The Sun machines and several of the HP machines worked fine on the new system, but 2 HP-UX 11.11 servers hang with no error messages.
