    HELP !!! problem with config.sys

    Open MSCONFIG (Start|Run|msconfig). Go to the System.ini tab, then to the 386Enh section. Click on New and add the line PerMVFiles=XXX (XXX being the number of file handles you need upto 255) Click on Apply. The system will want to reboot and things should work.
