    i cant get either of my computers to connect to the local area connect

    my computer (windows xp) cant auto find ip address, when inserted manually it says connected but isnt really connected. when i goto cmd.exe and type ipconfig/renew it says cannotrenew because media is disconnected how do i fix my computer?
