    Linux Mandrake 8.2 Crash problem

    Thanks for the reply, I'm not sure it's modem related. but possibly this modem has always worked well with Linux boxes in the past.. and it works well on another box I think it is something in Mandrake and the Chip set but can't put my finger on it. Thanks for the reply. Dave
