Ghost files
Yes, I know I'm looking at the correct desktop, because there are other folders on my desktop that wouldn't be on any other user's desktop. They are pictures. Such as, photo.jpg, or sarahprom1.jpg All the files that do this are .jpg...but there are .jpgs that show up on my desktop.- shannonlee74

Ghost files
I have the same problem on my Windows 7 computer at work, and my Windows Vista computer at home. When I am in a program (Adobe Photoshop, MS Outlook, etc.) and go to attach a file, or open a file, on my desktop it shows files that aren't there when I am looking at my desktop.
