    Help accessing internet

    I was hit by lightning thru my cable modem and it knocked out my NIC. I bought a new one, loaded the drivers and installed it. It keeps telling me it cannot find the drivers, issuing error 31. System is Dell running W2K Pro. Any help would be appreciated.
