More info ... it seems that this MSysDb is some sort of system object. When I used the option to display hidden objects in my other databases, they all had the prefix "MSys..." But... here's the punchline, none had an object named...- Nicole

No, the same result. I get a message that says "The Microsoft Jet database engine could not find the object 'MSysDb'. Make sure the object exists and that you spell its name and the path name correctly." <br><br>I don't know what this object...- Nicole

I was attempting to back up a large database file (35,000 records) from my laptop to another computer over a network. I copied the file from one computer and pasted into the other. Played with it to be sure that it was ok, and everything was fine. Then the next...- Nicole
