thanks for your help erik. it seems that lots of these variables are undefined in IE5.00 or NS4.7. I made a list witch indicate variables compatibility:

js:navigator.userAgent
js:navigator.platform
php:$REMOTE_ADDR

I'd like to get informations about the client computer for exemple (processor, OS, IP address, plugins, explorer, etc..). I know it's possible with ie (activeX), but can I get informations under netscape too ?

I made a load movie like this
loadMovie ("toto.swf", _parent.corpsAide); //height=506
after get _y property of loaded movie. I tryed with
getProperty(_parent.corpsAide, _height);
and
_parent.corpsAide._height
and the result is about 489
is there a known problem with it?

I think you must load the second movie with a loadMovieNum("movie.swf",0). it load the movie in level 0 and replace this one (because the main movie is at level0)
