Are you creating a system or user DSN? It sounds like a rights issue for the user. Try creating a user DSN. -
SQL Server Name Listed Twice in DSN Setup
I am trying to setup a user to connect to one of our SQL 2000 Servers by setting up a System DSN on their Windows 2000 machine and for some unknown reason this particular server name is listed twice. I can create other DSN connections to our other SQL 2000 and 7.0 Servers except for this one...
