2. when i first had the problem i used an pci card that i have.
3. monitor is less than 2 months old, it can to go up to 1600 x 1200. and i wouldnt spend $300 on a flat screen 19' piece of crap.

I'm building a new box, with a Soyo 370 motherboard, 64mb GeForce4 MX440-se agp. Running Win98.
The problem lies with the video card. I have installed all the other cards successfully. When I put in the agp card, it loads fine, but after I install the updated drivers and reboot the display...
on the 2000 box, it would show in the system properties, disk manager. now disk management, i did not try. but i must say, that i was not able to access the drive in the 2000 box either. i thought it may have been because it is formated fat32, and the 2000 box is ntfs.
