    i have one ethernet card 100mb on each PC without any hub or router. i just have a crossed RJ45 cable between the two PC. the protocols (which i remember) are : file and printer sharing tcp/ip

    the network neighborhood function is very slow (about 20 or 30 seconds) in my local network between a PC with WIN2K PRO and another PC with WIN XP PRO can anyone help ? thanks
