ok. i extracted the files from the .cabs and now when i choose an option from the startup menu the hard drive reads for a few seconds and then without warning the pc resets itself. i have tried all the options on the menu but all have the same result. help please!

hi. everytime i boot up my pc windows dsplays the logon prompt. no big problem but it is irritating. i have checked the mkb and done everything it says to do including trying to delete the registry entry relating to passwords but it doesn't exsist. anyone got any ideas? thanks.
to solve a bigger problem i need to view the bootlog.txt file. the trouble is, even when i select create bootlog from the boot options menu i can't find it anywhere on the hard drive. i am running windows me with 256mb and a 1ghz pentium 3. any ideas please.

enabling & disabling through msconfig. also did it through the step-by-step confirmation option on the boot menu. both processes produce the same results.
