Not really. Being a ST programmer, I'm not up on the gcc compilers nor options. I'm just trying to run the synergy configure executable so I suppose it's missing something specific to AIX. I could not upload a file (it's not a url) so I'll paste in here the part of the log file that pertains...
I am trying to install Synergy (1.3.1) on AIX 5.3 and it gets to checking pthreads and fails:
