Can send mail out from user, but no receiving

Can send mail out from user, but no receiving
I've recently setup sendmail on a debian server and I'm having trouble getting the server to receive and distribute the mail properly. I can send mail out from this account and I can properly connect to the server and look for mail, but it seems as though the server is having trouble receiving...- ttoomey
