Proper Authentication Required Error
More info: Our users cannot send mail through outlook, outlook express, thunderbird, but they can receive. When they attempt to send, a dialog box asking for username and password pops up, and neither the users or sasls username/password work.- xerocalpha

Proper Authentication Required Error
I am attempting to add authentication to sendmail server. I have compiled sasl and recompiled sendmail with support for it. EHLO from telnet responds with "250-AUTH DIGEST-MD5 CRAM-MD5 LOGIN PLAIN".
