Solaris on Intel / Install / Hardware Compat. / new models
Struggling to install Sol 8 onto a pc here. When selecting "select device to boot from" get a "cant mount blah blah" when I select the cd. It is a bootable cd drive, but doesn't appear in the HCL, so I guess that could be the problem ? Looking through the hcl, there are no...- cedarhay

X problem (?)
Start up X session on AIX4.2 (using Exceed emulator), numeric keyboard fine. vi file (any file, it's irrelevant) quit with :q numeric keypad doesn't work any more grrrr Any ideas ? Thanks -
Formatted text export ?
I need to export a report in a straight text format, with formatting (lines, columns) retained, which will then be loaded into a unix based document management archive. Exporting as rtf and using rtf2text isn't an option - is there another way to achieve ? Many thanks- cedarhay
