    Using a 3com switch with VLAN/Qos before the firewall

    My company wants to connect a 3com 4200 switch prior to the firewall using VLAN/Qos support. This same switch will have internal users, servers, etc. connected to it. I understand you need to assign trunks and not use the default VLAN (1), but isnt this a "bad" thing? Thanks for any help.
