    Nick, thanks for your answer. what you suggested would be fine and it does work, but it only incudes a predefined subject and i need to also include a prewritten message in the actual message body, below the subject. can you help? thanks, Pete

    i want to place a graphic on my page so that when it's clicked it will open a normal message box with a prewritten subject and message. all the visitor has to do is use his/her address book to fill in recipients - kind of like a glorified HTML 'mailto' link? any helpers appreciated. thanks, Pete
