If this has been asked before, please forgive me. For the life of me, i can't figure out how I'm supposed to accomplish this on a Procurve. Cisco syntax is simple, switchport mode trunk and make sure the encaps is dot1q. Procurve, hmm.. not so simple. Can anyone help me out here?

very helpful! thanks! any well known ports that SMS uses? in other words, if you had no physical access to the system running the client, how would you be able to tell if it was running it if you were saying scanning it via nmap?
