    Backup to disc speed

    My back up is achieved via to disc then from disc to tape. The backup to disc is taking a long time. The log is giving me a speed of 905MB/minute. Should I be expecting better speeds than this?

    Latest error message is the title. I have tried a back up to disc without the directory and it has worked fine but fails when trying to back up this one. It has SQL on it but does not seem to get as far as finding naything on it! any suggestions?

    Back Up Exec with OFO - unable to get a back up to disc

    I am having increasing problems with Back up Exec backing up to disc. Running 9.1 on a Dell 2600. Seem to have got past the 'pre-processing' lasting for hours due to changing the static volume size (thanks to Qdog!) but now it is getting 95% complete then stops, then after another hour says it...
