    How can I check for a file on my local (server) drive

    I am creating a script. I want to be able to check for an *.HTM(L) file. If it does not exists display a previous one. If it does exits, display it.

    How do I track messages?

    I am creating date driven pages. I am using the window.location = URL; command. I need to be able to trap a message if no page is found for that day and retrieve the last page (date) to display. How can this be achieved.
