I have a program using an ADODB connection which worked on one machine but now I've brought it home it keeps telling me that it can't create a new ActiveX object.
I've checked that my DSN exists in Data Sources and I have the ActiveX library in Project References.
set cn= new adodb.connection...
Thanx
& has not been forgotten so that is not the problem.
Checking content is messy because the skippings occurs when I'm trying to reinput user data after checking for inappropriate input.
But fflushing the buffer has worked and it does seem the most appropriate in the circumstances.
My program keeps skipping scanf() functions. Instead of prompting the user for input it automatically inputs spacebar/10.
What am I doing wrong and how can I correct it?
I am writing a relatively simple program in C (C++ not allowed) and need to emphasise on-screen text.
I would like to do this with colour but have no idea if this is even possible.
