When I posted, caller ID wasn't enabled on the Analogue lines from BT, but the lines in the SOE were set to Loop Start CLID. I got BT to enable caller Id on the lines, and now the delay is down to about 2 rings. much more acceptable.

I have installed a couple of Argent branch systems in the past which had ISDN30 trunks. So to configure remote voicemail was easy. I just set one of the DDI numbers to route straight through to voicemail. But using Analogue lines, is there any way (maybe using DTMF) to remotely pickup...
@redphone - Thanks for the info. Definitely a few things to try. I am unfortunately using caller ID, so I guess that I will have to cope with some delay. I haven't set anything in the locale field yet, so this may improvr things a bit.

I have been trying to route an incoming fax to a different extension than a voice call. Is this possible when the incoming calls use the same analogue line.
The way I attempted it was to have two incoming call routes, the first set with a bearer capability of "any voice" going to e.g. Extn201...
