Yes they know their own rates but we do not want them to modify them on purpose or by accident. It also may be the case that we will have another person entering another's timecard and in that case we definately do not want the rate to appear.
Each person will be entering their own that is why the rate column needs to be suppressed. I am planning to complete a VB program that will include the timecard entry screen in the program but I am unaware how to remove a single column in the details section of the screen and not give them...
I know that you are able to do that but I do not want users to have access to this column. I know that it can be hidden but when they right click and select restore defaults it will appear and I don't want that. Any other ideas?

Is there a way to customize an ACCPAC screen so that a certain column in the timecard entry screen is not seen. I am a programmer and I am trying to remove the rate column in the timecard entry screen. Could someone let me know how to do this.
