Never mind, I added Run to my start menu. However, Start Run ACTDIAG = "Windows cannot find ACTDIAG".
So, I did search, found it and run.

Now, here's the error log...
Deleted PAD and tried to open ADF.
First message is: "ACT! will now verify the database."
Next message is: "Database Landlord already exists. Choose a different name".
I tried to copy the file and give it a new name but it wants an ALF file to match.

Yes. I can see the database and the PAD file.
Also, I have to open ACT! with a right click on the icon and open as Admin. That's not related but it may be an issue.

Thanks for the tip but I checked and have no disabled items in MS Word.
My problem is I can not see fields list using either MS Word XP or ACT Wordprocessor. I'm guessing it's Vista but not sure.

The only way I can get ACT! to run is to right click on the Icon, select "Run as Administrator" and then give OK to Vista.
How can I fix to run with one click?

I running ACT! 9.01 on Vista Home and MS Word XP. Can't see how to open the fields list to create/modify templates. Don't see how with ACT! Word processor either.
Also, when I modify an existing template to insert new fields they don't merge. I'm as certain as I can be the field names are...
