    hi, I resolved the problem using a different POST SCRIPT PRINTER DRIVER. @zefir: thank you for the information - I absolutely agree with you. this time I had no choice, having to deal with already handed-in word-documents containing graphic.

    I can insert Word-documents properly with "Insert Object". After exporting to a pdf-file, the documents are cut down to DIN A 6. If I resize the document to DIN A 6 in pagemaker, of course the complete document is shown, but too small. I tried pagemaker 6.5 and 7, Distiller 3 and 4...
