I'm trying to set limitations on an Excel Spreadsheet using Mail Merge in Microsoft Word for mailing labels and the Query Options criteria is being ignored and merges the entire spreadsheet rather than the specific fields. Is there a problem with the security on the Excel spreadsheet?
I want to compact a database and every attempt results in the message, "in use by another user" but I am the user and I can't continue. Any ideas how to get out of this?
