    Got similar problem here - I run some servers (mainly RedHat/Debian) with sendmail. Each machine has an interface (eth0) with 1 main IP and plenty aliases (eth0:1 - 40+) with other IPs. Queue Runner is run in chrooted enviroment. Xinetd accepts connections on 25 and runs "sendmail -bs -Am" also...
