    Active X Error and IE...

    I have been fighting this same problem. Finally have found that the ActiveX in the windows\downloaded program files was damaged. I repaired XP & this seemed to fix the problem. Drove me crazy for several weeks. Hope this helps.

    There is no CD or diskette in computer. I have ran into this 1 other time, but can't remember how I corrected problem. TIA!

    Getting startup menu on boot before 98SE loads

    I reformatted & reinstalled win98 SE on pc. Now at bootup, before 98 loads, it gives me a 98 startup menu. Wants to know if I want CD rom support or not. How do I get rid of this? Have checked in sysedit, can not remember. TIA!!
