    Transparent gifs - ragged edges

    Hi, When I create a transparent GIF in Fireworks 4 I get ragged edges when I place it in a web page with a colored background. Am I creating the gif incorrectly ? Are there some settings I need for the gif that will clean up the edges ? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    EPS PARSER error: QK 5.01EPS to Illustrator 8.01

    Hi, I recently upgraded my Quark 5 software to 5.01 and now am not able to take a Quark EPS and open it into Illustrator 8.01 without getting the error: 'EPS parser is unable to parse the file". Can I fix this error without upgrading to Illustrator 9? Thanks for any input you have.
