I know you can use the BASE parameter in both the object and embed tag to set a movie's base directory for all relative paths, but I can't get it actually do anything. Has anybody used this before and if so, what has to be different between IE and netscape?

When I call the swf in a browser window, it plays fine, unless I pass a variable with it on the query string in the URL. What versions of netscape, I.E, flash plugins are needed to pull this off?<br> <p>Swamijones<br><a href=mailto:Swamijones@intoxic.com>Swamijones@intoxic.com</a><br><a...
What is the syntax for passing a variable into a swf from the url string calling the parent html page. <A HREF="http://www.site.com/page.html?variable=value" TARGET="_new">www.site.com/page.html?variable=value</A> doesn't seem to reach the swf. Is there something new I need to do?
I need to send a variable and then have the second movie update that variable and run with it. Any idea how it can be done short of parsing the variable through an active server page?
