The existing cables are CAT5E home runs. The longest run is about 75 feet. -
Extending CAT5E cables
I need to extend approximately 80 CAT5E cables from a closet to a server room. The distance is about 25 feet. Can I use punch down blocks & still have the installation considered conforming to CAT5E standards?
