I am using Windows XP Pro and have noticed that I can not remove read only attributes from folders. I can go in and make changes on each individual file but the folder remains read only. I even have this problem when I create a new folder. Does anyone have any suggestions before I call Microsoft?
I am currently using Windows ME and want to upgrade to XP. Any opinions on doing an upgrade vs. format and complete install. Does one work better than the other?
When I save pictures to a network drive in the My Pictures folder they always appear as a choice under the wallpaper choices im the display properties. They are only saved to this drive and not the C:. Is there any way to stop these pictures from appearing here?
I have a word document with a table as part of the document. I want to slant the text alignment in one of the cells but can't figure out how to do it. I tried creating the table in excel and inserting the table into word but it puts the text alignment back to normal. Any tips to help me out?

I have noticed that when trying to print something from the Internet the right side of the page is cut off from some sites when using Internet Explorer 5.0 or lower. Are there any settings that can be changed to get the page to print correctly or do I need to upgrade Internet Explorer?
I have saved something to a CD-R. I know there is still space left on the CD but I am not able to save anything else to the CD. Is there anything I can do to solve this problem or should I just use CD-RW?
