Looking for solution for this error message:
"Front end did not start within 60 seconds".
This problem occurs occationally in which the SAP frontend does not connect to the server and users have to try many times to log in.
Please advise.

Is there any way or settings to be made in which the R/3 system can disconnect the user when the SAP session is left idle after a certain time? Perhaps any parameter for session time out to be set in the instance profile? Please advise.

Dear all,
when stopping a r/3 system, I learn that the correct sequence would be stopping SAP service first. Then we stop the database server, that is to stop the MSSQL service, then only we power off the system. Now my question here is when the r/3 is implemented in a cluster enviroment...
