tried exporting to TIFF - color changes upon export..... running windows XP, CS wonder why it would happen for a tiff, but not a JPEG?

Not an expert, but here is how I would approach it. Basically you've got one shape here to create, then shade copy and flip copy around. If you are trying to replicate this, I would suggest importing this image and keep it on a seperate layer for reference. Than create the shape with your pen...

hey man, a little new myself, but have you tried grouping them? I don;t know what you are trying to do, but if you place them where you want them and group them (cntrl + G, for windows) you can manipulate them together to some extent. Grouping can also happen in the object tab. Cheers
