This is a great question, The ICS server should protect it's self, but I don't think it can protect the client.
The ICS is acting as a router, which makes me think it will, but will it apply it's own firewall settings to
traffic that it's passing...

Yes the hubs should be in the trash and so should all my Cat3 wiring. But we do what our employer is willing to pay for. I managed to get a bit of an improvement by moving the switches near the server and the hubs as far out as they would go. I'm planning to stone soup my employer one or two...

Looking at the manuals for my SS2-500 Hubs and my
SS2 3300s they have a CASCADE PORTs and Matrix Ports.
SS2 Hubs can be linked to Hubs...
SS2 Switches can be linked to Switches...
Is there anyway to link hubs to switches...

My Kid wanted to format her H drive and do a fresh install of XP... So She ran Backup from her old w98 onto a network share on my PC.
Is there a freeware/shareware program that will let us extract her docs and favotites... short of getting a second drive and reinstalling w98 so it can be over...

The Conduit is the plastic corragated kind and the cable
was greased to get it in. The grease is not hard like
epoxy.. A frend told me that he's been told that steam
