I don't think you can access those objects from outside of Access. You could port them over to VB, and then compile them as OLE objects that can be accessed from almost any programming language though...

Alternatively, you could simply place some code in the 'On No Data' event in the report that aborts the report by setting 'Cancel=True'. This way, you don't have to run the query more than once.
