    They wanted to run other apps on their server and scared of Linux. I've manually enabled ports 5222 and 8444. I know 8080 is working because I can log in through the browser. I selected the "validate certificate" option and get an immediate error so I know its' getting to the server.

    Don't know much about windows firewall but if all the ports were blocked wouldn't it block the ports required for the browser based login? The firewall says its off but maybe it's still blocking somehow.
