    WIDSCREEN EXPORTING FROM PREMIERE

    I import an AVI file and in the monitor it shows the video at full 760 X 530. I want the video to be at widescreen with the black bars at the top and bottom. the import video is 640 X 304. How can I keep it at widscreen. I would appreciate the knowledge.

    If the say AVI file is compressed with DIVX it may not play due to that AF does not support many DIVX compressed files.
