    I have tried the suggestions above and none of them worked. Did anyone have any luck? I am still experiencing the same delays.It is almost impossible to use the internet.

    Thanks for the reply, however, when checking my speeds and pings with my cable ISP I am within noraml ranges, even faster in some cases. This problem is discussed widely on Microsoft discussion baords, but since I can not view them in any normal time of viewing , I can not scroll thru all 312...

    I am having the exact same problesm (windows 98 IE 6.0 reformatted hard drive scaned disk, virus scan, defragged,cable modem. I've done all suggested. Still having the same problems. Did anyone solve this yet? it has taken a half an hour to post this so sorry for the errors.
