    Voice Logic Voice Pro 408 external jack for battery backup?

    I just installed the Voice Pro 408 which has the SWV 2.021 version. I noticed a jack plug on the back on the unit that indicates external battery 6volt. Any idea how to get this.. or is plugging the unit into a Battery/Surge protector good enough? Jim D
