Yep def is that, I have had similar problems in the past, if you run, Windows update this may have caused the problem, you can use certain patches after, say you use, SP3 as the image, I have used Windows update to patch the PC's for anything that says PRE SP4, and it works ok, but if I went to...- themaster0071

RIS Problem
I more thing to anyone who can help. We got a weird setup here, we are running a novell NDS not a 2000 Domain, I setup a 2000 Domain just for the ris setups, the PC's when imaged just log into the Novell NDS, and have nothing to do with the 2000 Domain. I got a problem, I have installed RIS on a 2000 Server all works fine, I have created 11 PC's from the image, again no problem, the image is a sysprep, with OS and Software installed, when I went to add additional software to the PC, it installed ok, but then removed itself!
