I have created a financial database to contain all of our account information. I want to be able to create reports that give information by a date range. I also want to be able to create a report to print transactions for certain accounts.
I had written awhile ago in regards to creating a report that would be able to print up information for a certain time period. I am creating a financial database to help contain all of our accounts in Access and I want to print transactions between certain dates. I also want to print a report...
As put in another post, I did the same as creating an empty database to get around the security problem that I created. I put a password on my first program which didn't allow me to save it to disk. I tried to repair by taking the password off the program. This didn't work so I tried the...
This has actually helped me in two ways on another thread that I had posted. I had put a security initially around one of the databases that I had created. This created a problem with copying onto disk and sharing in-house. The second way sounds better but I had already done it the first way...
I know that the database that I have will not fit on a floppy disk. When I try to save the database to a disk though it only saves 622 bytes of the 2.39 MB file. It doesn't give the too much information error message. When we try to upload the file onto another computer it gives the error...
I need to create a database that is empty of all records without destroying the information that is already there. My "boss" wants the database as is and also one that only has the tables, queries, reports, and forms in it.
Thanks
I need to have a copy of my database without any records in it. They want a "stripped down" version with just the forms tables queries and reports without any of the information that I have already inserted in my database.
Thanks.

Either I am a numskull or this is way above my head. I tried to do that exactly the way that you said. I keep getting an error message when I run the query that says This expression is is typed incorrectly or it is too complex to be evaluated. I added the field WeekStartDate into my table...
I have posted this on another forum but I am attempting to put it in this forum too to try to obtain as much relevant help as possible. I am not a programmer by trade but have been thrust into this position and am trying to learn the Access program as quickly as possible. I need to create a...
I have attemped to look at the parameter queries and I am still lost. This is truly my first project so all the help available is appreciated. I have tried to obtain help within the organization but have not received any. I am not truly a programmer by trade. I am helping to create this...
I have set-up a database to track phone calls that are made to students who aren't paying their bills. I want the report to only include phone calls made on a particular week, not all phone calls for all periods. I also need the report to dump old weeks and keep the current information. I do...
