SBTBILL,
Thanks for your post. That brings up an interesting situation that I was about to bring before the forum.
I have a customer who bought 4 modules of VisionPoint 10, complete with source, and I was getting ready to convert their VP9 modifications to VP10. But, they sold their...
BarryPCI:
I did some more research on your multi-user/network question.
Turns out my comment re: a separate multi-user version is born out by the SBT documentation. This is a quote from the VisionPoint 2000 (SBT Vers. 9) Build 906 Installation Guide:
"When you buy VisionPoint, you can...
I use the same format--different line numbers, but same print position--to print other sub-totals, which print correctly. And, the total fails to print, whether there is only 1 item in the invoice or a page full.
Barry,
I tried the same thing for a client of mine who was using VP9 (still essentially a DOS system). It would run in XP in "Accomodation Mode", but that ruled out networking. So, I am TRYING to move them to VP10.
Now, following up on Edgar's post re: the SYSDATA file. I don't have...
SBTBILL,
Thanks for your post. I understand re: VFP 6.0, VP 10, and XP. XP, and more modern hardware, were the primary reasons my client had to consider the move to VP 10.
Don't think I mentioned in my reply to Edgar, but I Google'd for FoxPro error "C0000005" and found very little help...
Thanks, Edgar, for responding.
The module is AR, specifically the programs ARPSTM and ARSTMF. I am having to bypass all the REPORT code. My client has a highly modified invoice, with subtotals of the invoice detail, followed by two different types of SHIP classes of items, with subtotals of...
Anyone out there using Vision Point 10 in Windows XP, along with Visual FoxPro 6.0 (actually, any version of VFP)? My client has source, and I'm doing extensive revisions to non-Laser printing output, bypassing the Report Generator code and the .FRM/.FRX files, and getting FoxPro "C0000005"...
I'm getting ready to convert a customer from VP7, W98, to VP10, XP Pro. Sure would like to have printed copies of the manuals, ESPECIALLY the Technical Reference. I'd hate to have to print all of them. Anyone have any they want to get rid of, or know where I might find some to buy?
We have 4...
I concur with the previous posters: you need to be sure your paths are mapped in SYSDATA.DBF just as they were in your W98 system.
Did VP ask you to go through the file conversion process? (Just trying to figure out how far you got.)
I did the same thing, but with no problem. My customer is...
